How much do you charge for your door-to-door delivery service?
If you order fall below $199, there are a few options for you:
1. Flexi Delivery-$9.9 (We will come anytime between 11am-6pm)
2. Regular Delivery-$18 (We will come between your preferred 3 hour range between 9am-6pm)
3. Specific time delivery-$35 (any 1 hour range between 9am-6pm)
P.S. If your delivery address is to a hotel, city or office building, we send to the nearest car pick up/drop off area and our delivery person will call prior to delivery.
Free delivery service in Sydney?
We offer free delivery within 5 kilometers of Waterloo Store and within 10 kilometers of Burwood Store for orders over $69. We can deliver as far as 30 kilometers within Burwood.
For orders over $199, we offer free delivery within 20 kilometers of Burwood.
Where can I self-collection the cake? Where are you located?
Any order can be picked up during opening hours with no minimum purchase required. We have two stores in Sydney with the following addresses:
1. Waterloo Store (Shop9, 20A O'Dea Ave Waterloo)
2. Burwood Store (192 Burwood Rd, Burwood)
Opening Time: 11am to 9pm
What if the cake I had ordered turned up damaged?
We highly encourage you to check the condition of the cake before acceptance. If the cake is damaged at the point of delivery, kindly contact the number stated in the site and we will make alternative arrangements for you. Whatever happens, do contact our friendly customer service and we’ll do our best to help you!
What if I did not collect my order? Will I be refunded?
If no one is present to collect the order at the time of delivery, we will call the number provided in the order and will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes. If no one is present to receive the cake at the time of delivery, the recipient will have the option of re-delivery (additional $35, subjected to availability) or self-collection up to 2 days after the original time of delivery. After 2 days, the cake will be disposed of. Refunds and exchanges are not available in such situations.

Is J.Ceres Cake Halal certified?
While our cakes are not Halal certified, we want to assure our customers that we adhere to strict guidelines to accommodate various dietary restrictions and preferences.
Rest assured, our cakes are free from any pork products (exclude "meat floss products"and alcohol, ensuring that they are suitable for individuals seeking options that align with their personal beliefs and dietary requirements.
Are J.Ceres Cake nuts-free?
Unfortunately, it does seem like some of our ingredients do come from factories that also contain or prepares nuts, hence there might be a chance of cross contamination.
Therefore, we do not recommend the having our bakes if an allergic reaction may be caused, for the consumer's safety.
We hope that this helps and deeply apologise for any trouble caused.
Can I purchase vegan cake or eggless cake?
Sorry, we can't make that.
How can I purchase a design cake from you that I didn't find in the website?

Will candles and cutlery be provided?
Yes, all our whole cakes come with cutlery and candles included

If you need extra cutlery, different candle styles, or more birthday party related products, please purcahse from the Buy Extra series.
Why are there bubble tea straws, wooden dowels or toothpicks in your cake?
Structure is vital in tiered cakes, as they are heavier and require support, or they may not be able to hold. Do remove the structural items in the cake before consumption. They are food safe but not edible.
How can I purchase a smash cake for my kid's 1st year photoshoot?
Our cakes contain dairy, butter, and eggs. Some toddlers may have allergies to them and react with rashes.
FAQ -Order and Cancellation
What happens if I would like to cancel my order
In the unlikely event of cancellation, we'll do our best to see what we can do to help your situation. But as with all cancellation policies, here's our take:
- As long as we have not started any preparation on your order (1 week or more to delivery date) - We'll refund 100% store credits with no expiry OR can do a 90% cash refund (the 10% is charged on our merchant's end)
- If we have started some preparation (3 days - 1 week to delivery date) - We'll refund 70% store credits with no expiry.
- If we are already in progress for your cake ( 3 days or less) - Our policy says 100% cancellation charge // no refund, but we'll do our best to help you given whatever situation, as we know it's likely due to unforeseen circumstances.

How long in advance should I place my order?
For designer cake orders, people usually order 2 weeks to a month in advance. We recommend giving us at the very least 2 days, but if you have less than that, let us know and we’ll see how we can help!
Standard cake orders usually require a much shorter turn-around time (eg, 1 days). We can even do same-day deliveries to you!
